Camera Access
Camera access is used only for real-time virtual preview. We never record, store, or transmit camera feed data.
JewelTry's virtual try-on feature requires access to your device camera to overlay jewelry images in real time. Here is exactly what happens:
- Camera access is requested only when you explicitly initiate a virtual try-on session.
- The camera feed is processed entirely on your device (client-side) and is never sent to our servers.
- No images, frames, or video data from your camera are recorded, saved, cached, or transmitted to any third party.
- If you capture a screenshot of your try-on session, that image is stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to it.
- You can revoke camera permissions at any time through your browser settings.
Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect it:
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3
- Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
- We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
